What, two posts in one day?
I just thought I would post a little note about my experience with kale smoothies today. Turns out that if your body isn't used to raw kale, it doesn't agree with you too well. Without going too TMI for my blogging friends, let's just say proceed with caution. Just google "green smoothie stomach".
A couple things I've learned after some google investigation: Don't drink a green smoothie in five minutes flat. Chew a little bit before you swallow. Don't drink on an empty stomach. Too bad it was so delicious. I think next time I'll just stick with the basics and drink a smoothie that is a normal color.
